From the car park by the bridge in Muker, this loop crosses the flagged meadow path to the River Swale and follows the river up to Keld, with a short detour to Kisdon Force, which drops 10 metres over two cascades. The return climbs the old Corpse Road over the shoulder of Kisdon Hill, used to carry the dead from Keld to Grinton until Muker church was built in 1580.
