Trail description
From the centre of Askrigg near the market cross, a waymarked path crosses the fields to Mill Gill Force, where the beck pours about 25 feet into a steep rocky ravine hidden in woodland. The loop then climbs beside Whitfield Gill and returns down a green lane and field paths above Wensleydale. West of Whitfield Gill lies a prehistoric ring cairn, now a scheduled ancient monument.
