Trail description

A 4.4 km climb from Riefensbeek-Kamschlacken to the Hanskühnenburg, a mountain hut with refreshments at 811 m on the Acker ridge in the middle of the Harz National Park. Its stone lookout tower, completed in 1914, gives a wide view over the mountains of the Upper Harz, and the hut takes its name from the legendary Hanskühnenburg crag 300 m to the north-east.
