Trail description

The first and most testing stage of the Two Moors Way climbs from Ivybridge onto the open moor and follows the old Redlake Railway north for about six miles through lonely moorland. It then crosses the River Avon by a 19th century clapper bridge and passes Huntingdon Warren, where rabbits were farmed from the mid 13th century to the 1950s, before dropping to the village of Holne.
