Trail description
This circuit leaves the free Langsett Barn car park, drops through woodland to the reservoir and crosses Brook House Bridge before climbing onto Midhope Moors past the ruins known as North America. It returns across the dam, one of the largest earth embankments in the UK. Built between 1898 and 1904, Langsett Reservoir holds over 1,400 million gallons and supplies water to Sheffield and Barnsley.
