Trail description
A moorland walk to the largest landslip in Britain, the dramatic gritstone towers of Alport Castles in the Dark Peak. The path climbs from the Derwent valley beside Ouzelden Brook across wild moor to the great tumbled crags above the lonely Alport valley, then returns over Rowlee Pasture and down to the Derwent Dam. A wild and impressive walk.
