Trail description

A 4.3 km climb of about 395 m from Zermatt up the Zmutt valley to the hamlet of Zmutt and the Zmutt reservoir. Zmutt, at 1,936 m, lies west of Zermatt. Its chapel is dedicated to Saint Catherine of Alexandria, and the valley runs below the north side of the Matterhorn to the Zmutt Glacier.
