Trail description
A 2.1 km climb of about 370 m from Grindelwald to Pfingstegg, the private alp on the Mattenberg above the village. In summer an aerial cableway, opened in 1967, also runs up to Pfingstegg. It is the starting point for walks to the Grindelwald glaciers, the Schreckhorn hut and the Chalet Milchbach, reached through a hiking tunnel, past the Breitlouwina rock garden.
