Grindelwald to Grosse Scheidegg

Trail description

A long 9.9 km climb of about 890 m from Grindelwald past Hotel Wetterhorn at 1,230 m to the Grosse Scheidegg pass at 1,962 m, beneath the cliffs of the Wetterhorn. The pass links Grindelwald with the Reichenbach valley and Meiringen, and the road over it is open only to postbuses, which run from Grindelwald from about May to October. There is a mountain restaurant with a panoramic terrace at the top.
