Trail description
Short out-and-back walk in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park up the old moraine wall to the Tasman Glacier and Lake Viewpoint. From the top you look down on Tasman Lake, which only began forming in 1974, and on Haupapa/Tasman Glacier, at about 22 km the longest glacier in New Zealand. DOC gives about 1.5 km and 40 minutes return.
