Trail description

From White Horse Hill in Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park the route climbs the Sealy Tarns steps and then a steep, rough ridge of scree and boulders to Mueller Hut at about 1,800 m on the Sealy Range. The hut looks straight across at the Mueller and Hooker glaciers and Aoraki/Mount Cook. Hut beds must be booked with DOC, and in winter the upper ridge holds snow and avalanche risk.
