Trail description

From the top station of the Shin-Hotaka Ropeway the trail goes through forest to the Nishiho Sanso hut and then along the rocky ridge to Doppyo (2,701 m), the first prominent rock tower on the ridge towards Nishi-hotaka. The last part is a hands-on scramble; the ridge beyond Doppyo is for experienced climbers only.
