Trail description
A two day walk from Kamikochi along the Azusa River past Myojin, Tokusawa and Yokoo, then up the Yokoo Valley to the Karasawa cirque at about 2,300 m below the Hotaka peaks. Karasawa Hut and Karasawa Hutte are famous for autumn colours in late September; the huts are booked out on autumn weekends.
