Trail description
A flat and beautiful riverside loop of about 7.6 km in the Kamikochi valley, the gateway to the Northern Japan Alps. From the Kappa Bridge the trail follows the clear Azusa River to the Myojin Bridge, the calm Myojin Pond and its little Hotaka shrine, then returns along the far bank past the Takezawa marsh. Easy and family friendly, with the sharp Hotaka peaks towering overhead.
