Mount Myoken from Myokenguchi

Trail description

Myokensan, about 660 m, on the border of Osaka and Hyogo in the Hokusetsu hills, is a sacred mountain with the Nose Myoken hall near the top, an important Nichiren temple of the Kansai region. This route walks up from Myokenguchi station on the Nose railway, which recommends five hiking courses to the top. The cable car and chairlift closed in December 2023, so the summit is now reached only on foot or by car.
