Trail description
From the trailhead on the edge of Owase the Iseji route of the Kumano Kodo climbs a well-preserved stone-paved path through cypress forest to Magose Pass, a UNESCO World Heritage section of the old pilgrims' road to Kumano, and returns the same way. The moss-covered stones are slippery in rain.
