Trail description
From the Odaigahara visitor centre the loop climbs to Hinodegatake (1,695 m), the highest point of the plateau, crosses grassy uplands with stands of bleached dead trees to Daijagura, a rock spur jutting out over the deep Higashinokawa gorge, and returns through the Shiokara valley. Odaigahara is one of the rainiest places in Japan.
