Harzer Hexenstieg: Torfhaus to Drei Annen Hohne

Trail description

The Harzer Hexenstieg over the Brocken, from Torfhaus along the Goetheweg to the summit (1141 m), the highest point of the Harz, then down past the crags above Schierke to the Drei Annen Hohne station. About 6 km of the descent follow the paved Brocken road, which is closed to private cars. The summit is open, windy and often foggy, so bring warm layers even in summer.
