Trail description
A 2.3 km climb from Oderbrück in the Harz National Park to the Achtermannshöhe (about 925 m), the third-highest mountain in Lower Saxony. Its summit dome, covered in loose rock, rises above the surrounding trees and gives an all-round view that reaches across to the Brocken in Saxony-Anhalt. The summit is stamp point 12 of the Harzer Wandernadel.
