Trail description

From Glacier Point the Panorama Trail descends along the south wall of Yosemite Valley to Illilouette Fall, crosses Illilouette Creek and climbs about 800 ft (240 m) before dropping toward Nevada Fall, where this 7.6 km route meets the John Muir Trail. From there the John Muir Trail or the Mist Trail lead down past Nevada and Vernal Falls to the valley floor.
