Trail description

A 7 km loop from the Mirror Lake Trailhead (shuttle stop 17) in Yosemite Valley: the first mile is a paved service road to Mirror Lake, then the trail follows Tenaya Creek beyond the lake and returns along the south side of Tenaya Canyon. The seasonal lake, fullest in spring and early summer, lies between North Dome and Half Dome and is the last remnant of a large glacial lake that once filled much of the valley.
