Trail description
From Singleton in the Lavant valley, paths climb south onto St Roche's Hill above Goodwood to the ramparts of the Trundle. The Iron Age hillfort, built around 500 to 100 BC, encloses a Neolithic causewayed enclosure first spotted on an aerial photograph in 1925, and the summit later carried a medieval chapel to St Roche, a windmill and a beacon.
