Trail description

From a car park on Iping Common, west of Midhurst, sandy tracks and bridleways cross the heather of Iping Common and continue over the lane onto the more wooded Stedham Common. The 125 hectare Sussex Wildlife Trust reserve is among the richest lowland heath in Sussex, where Dartford warblers and woodlarks breed, adders bask on the paths and nightjars churr at dusk in summer.
