Trail description

The walk starts at the small car park in Harbour Village above Fishguard Bay and passes near the columnar basalt of Pen Anglas before reaching Carregwastad Point, where a memorial stone marks the French landing of 22 February 1797, the last invasion of mainland Britain. Rugged cliffs grazed by cattle, sheep and horses then lead west past Porthsychan to Strumble Head and its lighthouse.
