Trail description

From the National Park car park at the Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes, this walk crosses into the neighbouring village of Gayle and follows field paths into a narrow wooded gorge to Aysgill Force on Gayle Beck. A stone bench faces the falls, and the approach is rocky, with tree roots and slippery ledges. The National Park Authority's circular version of this walk measures 6.5 kilometres.
