Trail description
From the Miller's Dale car park on the Monsal Trail, this loop drops to the riverside path through Chee Dale, a steep limestone gorge of the River Wye. Two sets of stepping stones lead along the foot of the Chee Tor cliffs and can be submerged after heavy rain, and the return follows the Monsal Trail through the Chee Tor tunnels. The dale is a Derbyshire Wildlife Trust reserve with a 200 foot deep gorge.
