Trail description

A 5.2 km walk from Murren to Grutschalp high above the Lauterbrunnen valley, losing about 150 m overall with small climbs on the way. Murren, a Walser village at 1,638 m that cannot be reached by public road, looks across to the Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau. The Lauterbrunnen-Murren mountain railway links the two, with a cableway from Grutschalp down to Lauterbrunnen.
