Trail description

A steep 3.8 km climb of about 610 m from Castagnola on the edge of Lugano, up stepped lanes and woodland paths past Ruvigliana to the top of Monte Brè at 925 m. The summit looks down on Lake Lugano and the city. The funicular from Cassarate offers a way down.
