Trail description
An 8.9 km walk along the Lötschentaler Höhenweg, the high trail on the sunny side of the Lötschental, from Lauchernalp past the alps of Weritz and Telli to Fafleralp. The path keeps close to 2,000 m with the Bietschhorn opposite, then drops to the valley head. Since the 2025 glacier collapse that buried Blatten, check access to Fafleralp and the state of the trail before going.
