Trail description

A 6.5 km climb of about 820 m from Lauchernalp in the Lötschental to the Lötschenpass at 2,690 m and its hut on the old pass between Valais and the Bernese Oberland. The route crosses alpine pastures and stony ground with views of the Bietschhorn. Snow fields can linger near the pass into July.
