Trail description

A steep 5.4 km climb of about 1,060 m from Fionnay in the Val de Bagnes to the Lac de Louvie at 2,214 m. The lake lies in a quiet hanging valley below the Grand Combin, in a reserve where ibex and chamois are common. The path is narrow and relentless, with a few short exposed sections.
