Trail description
A 3.6 km climb of about 250 m from Arolla to the Lac Bleu, at 2,091 m in the area of Le Louche on the west side of the Val d'Arolla. The lake is ringed by larches and Swiss stone pines, and its intense blue comes from a mix of algae and clay minerals. It is about 1.5 hours on foot from Arolla, or 45 minutes from the La Gouille bus stop.
