Cabane des Aiguilles Rouges from Arolla

Trail description

A 6.4 km climb of about 850 m from the hamlet of Arolla up the open slopes of the Val d'Hérens to the Cabane des Aiguilles Rouges at 2,810 m. The hut sits below the jagged Aiguilles Rouges d'Arolla with a wide view of the Pigne d'Arolla and Mont Collon. The last part is steep and stony, and at this altitude snow can linger into early summer.
