Glecksteinhütte from Hotel Wetterhorn

Trail description

A 4.4 km climb from the Abzweigung Gleckstein bus stop near Hotel Wetterhorn to the Glecksteinhütte at 2,316 m, below the Wetterhorn, with about 850 m of climbing. Most of the path is rated T3 (demanding mountain hiking), steep and exposed in places, so sure footing and a head for heights are needed. Exposed ledges on the path have fixed cables and handrails to hold.
