Trail description
A steep 3.6 km path between Stechelberg on the floor of the Lauterbrunnen valley and the cliff village of Gimmelwald, with about 560 m of height difference. The route crosses the Sefinental and runs through forest past the Sefinen falls and smaller cascades, and near the Schilthorn cable car station in Stechelberg passes the Murrenbach falls. Most walkers do it as a descent from Gimmelwald.
