A 16.8 km stage of the Walker's Haute Route from Zinal along the slopes of the Val d'Anniviers and over the Forcletta pass at 2,874 m to Gruben in the Turtmanntal, with about 1,230 m of climbing. It is a long day in high country, with no huts on the way.
