Trail description

A 9.1 km climb of about 1,650 m from Zinal up steep pastures and moraines to the Cabane de Tracuit at 3,256 m, a modern hut on the rim of the Turtmann glacier. The views reach to the Weisshorn and the Zinalrothorn. It is a long and steep day at altitude; the hut is staffed in summer.
