Trail description

A 5.2 km climb of about 970 m from the Llanos del Hospital above Benasque up the steep slopes on the north side of the valley to the Tuca de Salvaguardia (Pic de Sauvegarde) at 2,738 m on the French border. The summit faces the Aneto and the whole Maladeta massif across the valley. The last part is steep scree and rock.
