Trail description
A short 1.1 km climb of about 50 m up to the Holmenkollen ski jump in the forested hills above Oslo. Ski jumping has been held here since 1892, and the present jump, finished in 2010, houses the Holmenkollen Ski Museum, founded in 1923 and the oldest ski museum in the world. A lift runs to an observation deck at the top of the jump, about 427 m above sea level, with a view over the city and the Oslofjord; Holmenkollen station on metro line 1 is about ten minutes' walk away.
