Trail description
Walk from Bogstad gård along the east shore of Bogstadvannet, the lake on the border of Oslo and Bærum at the edge of Nordmarka. The lake covers about 1 km² and was raised by about two metres in 1869, when the Wedel Jarlsberg family at Bogstad built a dam. It has popular bathing beaches, and its outflow forms the Lysakerelva river. Bogstad gård, now a museum, was once property of the nunnery at Vålerenga.
