Trail description

Butsukasan, 747 m, stands in eastern Tanzawa on the border of Aikawa and Kiyokawa, near Lake Miyagase. This route climbs from the Miyagase dam side over Takatoriyama to the summit, which carries a 13 m observation tower with views over eastern Tanzawa and the Kanto plain. The trails are well kept and easy enough for families. The name comes from the Zen master Butsuka, who is said to have meditated here in the Muromachi period.
