Hakone Old Tokaido from Hatajuku to Moto-Hakone

Trail description

This walk follows the stone-paved Old Tokaido highway over the eastern side of the Hakone pass, a national historic site. It starts at the old village of Hatajuku with its milestone mounds, climbs past the Amazake Chaya teahouse and ends among the old cedars near Moto-Hakone on Lake Ashi. The stones are slippery after rain.
