Trail description

Mount Myojo, 924 m, is a peak on the outer rim of the Hakone volcano, named for the evening star that shines above it as seen from Odawara. The trail climbs from the Miyagino hot spring village through forest to the rim. Every year on the night of August 16 a great daimonji bonfire is lit on its slope for the Gora summer festival.
