Trail description

A 5.7 km climb of about 920 m from Valnontey near Cogne to the Rifugio Vittorio Sella at 2,588 m, once a royal hunting lodge of the House of Savoy. The meadows around the hut in the Gran Paradiso National Park are among the best places in the Alps to see ibex and chamois.
