Trail description

A gentle 3.9 km walk of about 110 m of climbing from Passo San Pellegrino, 1,918 m, across the pastures to the Rifugio Fuciade in the Fuciade basin above Soraga di Fassa. The privately owned hut, opened in the 1960s, lies below the southern peaks of the Marmolada group, including the Sasso di Valfredda at 3,003 m. The pass was an important crossing on the medieval road from Germany to Venice, and takes its name from a hospice built there by friars in 1358.
