Trail description

A 6.2 km walk with about 560 m of climbing from Alba di Canazei up the Val Contrin on a forest track to the Rifugio Contrin at about 2,020 m, below the south side of the Marmolada. The valley opens into pastures with views of the Gran Vernel. The hut belongs to the Italian Alpine Club and is staffed in summer.
