Trail description

A 4.9 km climb of about 555 m from Staffal above Gressoney-La-Trinité past Tschaval and Moos to the Rifugio Gabiet and the Lago Gabiet at 2,373 m. The lake in the upper Lys valley is a reservoir, formed by a gravity dam built between 1919 and 1922. Monte Rosa's glaciers rise above it.
