Trail description

A 2.8 km walk with about 250 m of climbing from the GEOPARC Bletterbach visitor centre above Aldino down into the Bletterbach gorge. The stream has cut a canyon some 400 m deep through rock layers laid down over 40 million years, with fossils and footprints of reptiles from before the dinosaurs. The gorge is part of the UNESCO Dolomites; entry is paid and a helmet is recommended.
