Trail description
A 1.8 km walk with little climbing from the Schmücke along the Rennsteig to the Schneekopf at 978 m, the second highest summit of the Thuringian Forest. A lookout tower on top raises the view above the trees. The path is part of the Rennsteig ridge trail.
