Trail description

A climb from Ilmenau to the Kickelhahn summit in the Thuringian Forest. Forest tracks lead up through the Scheffelgrund and along the Buchenallee to the Goethehäuschen, the hut where Goethe wrote his famous night poem, and on to the lookout tower on the top.
